Dr OT George Clinic Thodupuzha

Very disappointing experience. The staff behaviour was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially some of the nursing staff. There seemed to be a complete lack of basic courtesy and work ethics when dealing with patients. I had booked an appointment and still waited for around 2 hours. What made the situation worse was the attitude from the staff when I tried to ask about the delay. After waiting that long and experiencing such poor treatment, I asked to cancel the registration and requested a refund, but they refused to provide one. Please don’t blindly rely on the timings or assurances given while booking. Patients are already coming in with health concerns, and the least they deserve is respectful communication and proper treatment from the staff. For me, the overall service was pathetic and the experience was frustrating enough that I would not choose to return. There are plenty of other doctors and facilities where patients’ time and basic dignity are treated with more respect.

Treatment and surgery for meniscus tear was done by Mr Ot George and his son. It’s been one year and I am not able to walk properly due to pain till now. I consulted him multiple times after surgery, last day I consulted doctors at Kolanchery and Rajagiri ,both the doctors told that the diagnosis done by ot george was wrong and suggested another surgery for healing. Today I consulted Mr Ot george again ,he suggested one more surgery ‘’ to remove meniscus’’ And they didn’t take any responsibility and his son responded in very bad manner Never consult this doctor 🏻

Not recommended for any one who is looking for a minor checkup and consultation. I booked for a check up for My Son 2 weeks back , for just consultation and for ruling out a doubt regarding his leg movements. On first day itself the staff enquired about the issue for consultation. After that on everyday of appointment they will call in the morning and will say that the doctor is not available.. This continued for 2 weeks . Even today they are not in a condition to give me an appointment…. So Please not recommended for anyone who needs a minor consultation…

I had a complete ACL tear at the end of 2024 while playing football on turf. I consulted Dr. O.T. George and his son, Dr. Nithin George, who are excellent orthopedic doctors. Based on their recommendation, I underwent ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair in February 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Thodupuzha. I started my physical therapy on the second day after surgery. Within six months, I was able to return to my main sport, badminton. I focused on strengthening and regaining the full range of motion in my right leg. After one year, I fully returned to badminton and even won a tournament in 2026—just one year and two months after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. O.T. George, Dr. Nithin George, and their team for orthopedic care. Also, remember to give 100 percent to your recovery—successful healing is 50 percent surgery and 50 percent your commitment to coming back stronger.
