Edavetty Forest | Nagaravanam Thodupuzha offers a glimpse into Kerala’s lush greenery and is a commendable government initiative aimed at preserving natural spaces. Located in the outskirts of Thodupuzha, this forest area invites visitors to immerse themselves in a rustic environment surrounded by native flora and fauna.
While the forest holds great potential as a peaceful getaway, some visitors note that maintenance could be improved. The paths may be challenging due to insects and overgrowth, particularly during the monsoon season, so visitors are advised to prepare accordingly. Despite these challenges, the forest remains a quiet spot for those looking to connect with nature away from city life.

a month agoEdavetty Forest (Nagaravanam) is an absolute hidden gem and an incredibly beautiful, peaceful spot! Located just about 4 km from Thodupuzha town, it is situated right on Edavetty Canal Road, near the Edavetty Grama Panchayat. If you are looking for a good place for lovers and couples to spend some quality time away from the rush of daily life, this is the perfect destination. The entire atmosphere is filled with lush greenery, the soothing sounds of birds, and a cool breeze. Walking hand-in-hand through the beautifully paved pathways with the Malankara dam canal flowing nearby adds to its pure romantic charm. It is a very, very good place with stunning natural backdrops, perfect for taking beautiful pictures together. Highly recommended for couples and nature lovers. A must-visit the hidden place
