a week agoVery disappointing service experience from Veliyathu Motors, Thodupuzha. I own a Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which is only around 3 months old. I brought the bike to the service centre for a throttle body issue, but there was no proper communication or update from their side. I had to call them myself after 3 days just to find out what was happening. After keeping the bike for around 2 weeks, I went to collect it and noticed scratches on the fuel tank that were not there when I handed over the bike. When I raised the issue, instead of properly acknowledging the mistake or even offering an apology, the staff had a very disappointing attitude and suggested that I could claim it through insurance. I don't understand why I should use my insurance for damage that happened while the bike was in their custody. Even after a long discussion, there was no proper acceptance of responsibility. I have owned vehicles from different brands, but this has been one of my worst service experiences. A customer hands over a vehicle to an authorised service centre with the expectation that it will be handled safely and responsibly. Unfortunately, my experience with Veliyathu Motors has seriously affected that trust.
