a week agoPathetic Customer Service & Rude Attitude – Disappointing Experience Date of Visit: 27-June-2026 (Lunch) Rating: 1/5 As regular customers of Kabani International Hotel, my wife and I walked in today for lunch expecting the usual good hospitality. Unfortunately, what we experienced was a masterclass in rude attitude and pathetic customer service. The Good Start Upon entering, we received a warm welcome from one of the restaurant staff members who promptly served us hot drinking water. When we casually asked him if vegetarian meals were available, he honestly mentioned he wasn't entirely sure, went inside the kitchen to physically verify, and returned with a positive confirmation that yes, Veg Meals were available. The Complete Disrespect Right after, another staff member approached our table to take the order. When we told him we'd like to have the Veg Meals, he immediately shut us down, saying bluntly right to our faces: "No meals, only Biryani available." When I reminded him that his colleague had literally just checked with the kitchen and confirmed its availability, instead of cross-checking, he double-downed and insisted we order Biryani. He completely disregarded our choice as customers, trying to force-feed us what they wanted to clear out from the kitchen. Zero Management Intervention To make matters worse, there was a well-dressed gentleman standing right next to the billing desk—clearly a supervisor, manager, or floor in-charge. He watched this entire interaction happen at our table and didn't even bother to step in, ask what the issue was, or try to resolve it. Absolute lack of leadership and basic restaurant management A Note to the Management: If your goal is to push high-margin or leftover items like Biryani, do not do it by forcing your customers and denying them other menu options. Always remember that the customer is king, whether it is a small local eatery or a big hotel. A business thrives on its reputation, and today's small order shapes tomorrow's brand value. Extremely disappointed. We will definitely think twice before stepping back in here.
