a month agoI stayed here for one night for a function at todupuzha . The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so I appreciate that. However, my overall experience was spoiled by the front desk service. The receptionist repeatedly made me feel uncomfortable. Even though the room had already been booked using my Aadhaar details by my friend, I was stopped at reception and asked unnecessary questions instead of being allowed to go to my room. Later, another friend checked in by simply mentioning my name, which made the earlier questioning seem inconsistent. Another issue was that the reception never answered the phone when I called. At around 10 PM, I tried to request ice, but there was no response. Considering this is a bar-attached hotel, I expected such a basic request to be handled. The most disappointing part happened after I checked out at around 5 AM. The receptionist called me and spoke rudely, asking why I hadn't informed them about my checkout and blaming me because my friend was still in the room. Since I had already completed my checkout, I didn't think it was my responsibility to notify them about another guest's stay. The way I was spoken to was unprofessional and disrespectful. The rooms are good, but the reception staff seriously need better customer service training. Respectful communication and consistent handling of guests would make a big difference.
