7 months agoWe have just enjoyed a wonderful visit to Mundackal for a tour of the rubber plantation and to have lunch prepared by the family. The tour was fun and very informative, as a variety of other crops are grown, from pepper to pineapples, and we learned much about their cultivation and the economics of running this business. George, his mother, wife and daughter were all charming and we had great discussions over the superb lunch provided. We doubt we will enjoy better food during the rest of our trip to Kerala. The plantation house and its location, at the end of a long drive from the main road, are serene and relaxing. We would definitely recommend Mundackal for a longer stay, and hope to return to do so in the near future.
