My experience at Madukkakuzhy Ayurveda Hospital, Parathodu, has been truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. Although my treatment sessions lasted only about an hour each day, the care and attention I received extended far beyond the treatment room. Throughout my treatment , everyone made sure I was comfortable, cared for, and felt completely at home. Their positive attitude, smiling faces, and willingness to help made a real difference to my healing journey. The doctors are highly knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. The therapists are skilled and professional, carrying out every treatment with great care and dedication. What impressed me the most was the genuine hospitality of the entire team. They don't just treat patients—they treat you like family. A prolonged period of extreme stress had taken its toll: In addition to gaining 25 kg (55 lbs) in five years, I suffered from depressive episodes, calcific tendinitis of the shoulder, general stiffness, constant fatigue, and many other ailments. This is how I ended up here. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with great warmth, sensitivity, and care. The daily therapeutic treatments, yoga sessions, and walks, the individually tailored medication, and the daily consultations with the doctor, during which my therapy was continuously adjusted, have significantly contributed to my recovery. Equally crucial was the exceptional warmth and care of the entire team. The results speak for themselves: My calcific tendinitis of the shoulder is completely pain-free, my mobility has improved considerably, I have lost 8 kg (16 lbs), and I feel much better both physically and mentally. And all this after just 21 days! Now, after my third stay, I have lost a total of 17 kg (37 lbs), as this is my third visit this year. This time, apart from being overweight, I arrived without any acute health problems. Nevertheless, every stay feels like a complete rejuvenation. Body, mind, and soul find their balance again, mobility returns, and you have the feeling that your entire system is functioning smoothly once more. Once again, from the very first moment, I was treated with the utmost attention, respect, care, and genuine appreciation. The entire team works with impressive competence, empathy, and dedication. You can feel in every moment that the individual is the focus here. For me, this place is far more than a clinic—it is a place of healing, recovery, and rejuvenation. I am deeply grateful and can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

This is my third time staying at the Madukkakuzhy homestay in Kerala. It truly lives up to its name; thanks to the family atmosphere, I feel right at home. It was another wonderful three weeks; I feel like a new person and a few kilos lighter, too. Until next time ❤️
