a week agoThis was a go-to place for us until about a year ago. We visited the Bamboo Rooftop Restaurant again yesterday for dinner with the same expectations, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the food quality, taste, and service. We ordered our usual items — BDF, dragon chicken, rice and dal — but something definitely felt off compared to our previous experiences. There was a significant delay in serving the food, and by the time it arrived, it was already past 10:30 PM. What was more disappointing was that the staff seemed to be in a hurry and repeatedly made us feel like we needed to finish quickly and leave. After waiting that long for our food, we expected to at least have our dinner peacefully. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and more than half of the food ended up being wasted. Had we been informed about any mandatory closing or exit time beforehand, we would not have ordered the food in the first place. This was certainly not the experience we expected from a restaurant at a 4-star property. It is the first time we've had such a disappointing experience here, which is especially unfortunate given how much we liked this place earlier. Hope the management takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to improve the food and service. Customers are spending their hard-earned money here, and experiences like this naturally make them hesitant to recommend the place to friends and family.
