in the last weekThe worst hospital canteen in entire kerala state. Very irresponsible behaviour from staff. Ordered chicken curry and chappathi. For the same price i could have bought 1.2 kg chicken and chappathi from town. I will never come here again.

a week agoI recently purchased a hearing aid for my mother from a reputed hospital in Kochi. However, after wearing it for a while, she experienced severe discomfort, including buzzing and humming sounds. It was not programmed properly. When we went back to that hospital, they tried to re-program it, but the issue wasn't resolved. That was when we came to know about the Audiology department at Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Thodupuzha. We honestly didn't know earlier that such a dedicated department existed here. We decided to visit and consulted the Audiology Doctor Mr. Bovas Chacko. He was extremely professional, listened carefully, and re-programmed the hearing aid with utmost precision. Now, my mother has zero discomfort, can hear clearly, and enjoys complete clarity of sound. We are truly impressed by the department, and the expert care provided by the department. A heartfelt thanks to Smita Memorial Hospital and the Audiology Department for their wonderful service.

a week agoWhen someone comes to a hospital with a sensitive and difficult situation, compassion and respectful communication should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, the way we were spoken to by the doctor (Dr Reshma balachandran )was extremely upsetting and made an already difficult situation even harder. Patients and families deserve to be treated with dignity, empathy and respect, regardless of how busy the hospital is. I sincerely hope the hospital takes this feedback seriously and looks into what happened.
