"The hospital has good facilities, and the doctors and staff are generally caring and professional. However, I was concerned about the infection control standards. There was no soap available in the common toilet for hand washing, which is a basic and important requirement for maintaining hygiene and preventing the spread of infections. I hope the hospital management will address this issue and strengthen its infection control practices to ensure a safer environment for patients and visitors."

I had a very disappointing experience at St. Mary’s Hospital, Thodupuzha. I visited the casualty department due to a minor dizzy spell. While they conducted a blood test and an ECG, I was shocked to receive a total bill of ₹3000. What is most concerning is that the bill includes charges for medicines that were never administered to me. When I questioned this, I did not receive a satisfactory explanation. Charging such a high amount for basic diagnostics and adding "ghost medicines" to the bill is unfair to patients.
